Belinda Oyinkan Marquis, MD

Dr. Belinda Oyinkan Marquis joined the SUNY DMC Department of Neurology - Epilepsy Division in February, 2015.  She is a board-certified pediatric neurologist with fellowship training in epilepsy and neuroimaging.  She earned her M.D. from SUNY Stony Brook and began her training in pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital, completing her residency in pediatric neurology at the NYU Langone Medical Center.  Dr. Marquis then came to SUNY Downstate for a fellowship year in Clinical Neurophysiology - Epilepsy, which was followed by another fellowship year in Neuroimaging at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia, focusing on advanced imaging techniques of adult and pediatric neurological disorders.  Dr. Marquis received the Jack O. Greenberg Neuroimaging Award from the American Society of Neuroimaging in 2013, and the Billie Wright Adams, MD Scholarship from the National Medical Association in 2012.  Her practice includes children with epilepsy as well as other neurologic disorders.  Dr. Marquis is proficient in Spanish.
