HIV/ID Seminar Series

The Thursday HIV/ID Seminar Series provides its audience with lectures and workshops on current diagnostic and theurapeutic modalities in HIV care, active research on HIV-related diseases and epidemiology, and the psychosocial and policy aspects of HIV prevention and care. At least one seminar each month is devoted to non-HIV infectious disease topics. The target audience is HIV/ID physicians, fellows, mid-level clinicians, nursing staff, and mental health professionals from SUNY Downstate, Kings County Hospital Center, and neighboring hospitals, community health care centers, and community-based organizations.
