A Message from President Riley
By Office of the President | Jun 5, 2024
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
As the warmth of summer envelops us, I hope this message finds you in good spirits and eager anticipation of the restful days ahead. This season offers us a precious opportunity to pause, reflect, and rejuvenate after a year of hard work and dedication.
Our collective well-being is paramount. I encourage each of you to take this time to focus on your health. Let this summer be a period of self-care and revitalization, whether it’s catching up on much-needed sleep, engaging in physical activities, or scheduling those overdue medical check-ups.
Summer is also an excellent time to reconnect with loved ones. Whether traveling to visit family, hosting gatherings, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, these experiences are invaluable. Strengthening these bonds nourishes our hearts and minds, preparing us to return to our academic and professional pursuits with renewed vigor.
As we recharge, let’s also remember the exciting year ahead. New courses, groundbreaking research, and campus activities await us. Our shared commitment to excellence will undoubtedly lead to another year of achievements and growth.
I wish you all a restful and enjoyable summer. May it be filled with health, happiness, and cherished moments with family and friends.
In the meantime, please note that the President’s Bulletin will be on hiatus for the summer; we will resume publication after Labor Day.
