Orthopedics Club/Sports Medicine
The Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Club at SUNY Downstate is for anyone that is interested in learning about or pursuing orthopaedic surgery or sports medicine as a specialty. Throughout the year we host many fun and educational events such as suturing labs, casting labs, sawbones labs, and an orthopaedics residency match panel. We also help connect students to research opportunities at both Downstate and Maimonides Orthopaedics Departments.
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, we are unsure whether we will be able to have any in-person events in the near future. We hope to host a General Interest Meeting over Zoom in late August or early September.
